Step 1

Estimate how much bigger the Charles Raymond watch’s band is than your wrist. Put the Charles Raymond watch on. Pinch a couple links together and keep pinching more links until the band fits well around your wrist.

Step 2

Unfasten the watch near a link that you will be removing. Don’t worry if you mistakenly open a clasp far from your intended site of removal. Links can be easily reattached on Charles Raymond link watches.

Step 3

Remove the links that make the Charles Raymond watch too big for your wrist. You can take off the extra links by pushing your fingernail inside the fasteners to open the clasps. Then take off links until the Charles Raymond watch fits your wrist.

Step 4

Place the superfluous links in a secure spot. You may need these links in the future. The links can be reattached easily.

Tips

Try using tweezers if your fingernails are too short to unfasten the links.

Look at the back of the Charles Raymond watch to figure out which links can come off. The removable links will usually have a drawing of a claw or they will have their brand’s name on their tips.

Warning

Be aware that new Charles Raymond watches are stiff and therefore it may take a little more effort to remove their links.
